Yep that is Lord Straxus alright. Darkmount was the castle where he held court in the 1986 uber classic The Smelting Pool, so there is a connection with the original Straxus character. I can't see the point in the renaming though.

Its another one of those legal crap situations. Like Hot Rod becoming Rodimus, Trailbreaker to Trailcutter etc. Its to do with copyrighting the names. I've got one and to me its Straxus. I like the Skullgrin remold, but I think the chance of the UK getting it are Zip.

I can't see the point in the renaming though. Forgot to add. Takara doesn't have the same legal issues Hasbro does. The Japanese version is called Straxus, its slightly repainted.
