Wondered if anyone else had seen the stories? Not really the publicly I think Hsbro were aiming for. Got to say I was pretty surprised they hadn't researched this before hand.

Yeah it sounds rather embarrassing. I suppose if you live in America where the name means something completely different you wouldn't know unless told, but I'm also surprised they don't have people in the UK to advise them or find out by other means like the internet.

Me and Mellowshade were chatting about this on FB. The character is getting completely renamed now. Prob is the fans will just know him as Spastic, Spazza, Spacco etc now. Doesnt even look like he's gonna get a UK release so he'll be all over ebay with UK twits spending too much to have their own Spazmo.

They will still going to release it in other parts of the world. Hardcore fans will still get it. Afterall it is a toy.
