Well I'm surprised to be the first to write anything on this. As its early I'll try not to spoil anything for anyone. First I loved the bit with Prime and Swindle and I'm sure you all know what I mean, thought it was brilliant. Was good to see Bumblebee start to establish himself as leade. Not really sure whats going on with Thundercracker at the moment, I think maybe it would be a good idea to give him a mini-series or at least a Spotlight the way he is at the moment, he seems a bit lost with no signs of finding himself. Hope I've no ruined anything for anyone.

I have to admit, I think that they are now dragging the story a bit. Maybe it's because I've read TF:BB, but I am starting to get fed up with the whole tf hunting and tf hiding stories. I hope it changes soon as I think it is going real slow. Swindles "little" surprise was great, but something has to start happening soon. Maybe we have been spoilt with past stories and LSOTW I dunno

Yeah it did feel a bit like the story was dragging a bit. The action with Menasor could in theory have taken place in issue 5 leaving this issue to take things to the next level. Don't get me started on how so much more went per issue in the old Marvel days! I'm also a bit unconvinced about Prime and Spike's sudden meeting of minds. I didn't find Prime's words particularly convincing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this issue and thought it was a great read.
Was great to see Prime return to the fray in some classic action. Hehe swindle got his just desserts lol but im sure that wont be the end of him. Haha was quality that he got away from Magnus again! He's gonna give him a nervous breakdown by the end of this story arc especially now he's stuck on earth too now lol Nice to see Prime and Spike's friendship developing, but im still a little unsure of Prime's current thinking and where he sees himself fitting into the picture!? It'll be interesting to see where this Prime thread leads but it was still a bit weird to see him just walk off again. But i did like the fact that he didn't just walk all over BB and take control.
Menasor was superb with all his brute force and conflicting opininons from the stunticons lol fantastic.
Was also great to see BB start to ascert his authority and ask the big question we've all been wondering about Magnus and the Tyrest Accord. Would love to see one fully developed.
So who reckons Hot Rod's off to find the Matrix!?

Relatively indifferent to this issue. Perhaps more on the unimpressed side of things actually. But hey, who the F was i kidding when i said i wasn't gonna read TFOngoing anymore!?! Still hate the art, it's the one thing i'll never fail to mention in an (TF)Ongoing forum. sorry, everyone who got over it already

I admire Don for having the courage to try something different but I have to admit I'm not sorry to see EJ back on the book for issue 7 with normal service resumed.

I've always been a big Don Fig fan, so im not gonna knock his talent, especially as he is a true hero of cybertron, and i totally admire his courage for trying something new and different and i do love how he's always pushing the boundaries etc but i've not always enjoyed the artistic style he's developed so far in the ongoing even tho it has been technically very good!
I guess for me, it's just ressembled far too much 'Bay-formers' and 'movie-verse'! which i just loathe (for every possible reason - sorry people if you like the movies) and so i've found it hard too take here in a g1 comic-book! Bumblebee's character being the most flagrant!! Plus i didnt roll with all those scary skelectic/zombie faces and 'pointy teeth and things' lol.
But i have enjoyed seeing some characters depicted and based upon thier actual g1 toy designs (even if they are the modern take - like classics mirage etc - im not against rolling with the times) but sadly this hasnt been true for all of them. In fact its been frustrating not having some consistency with the alt modes altogether!
So im with you guys on this one and looking forward to seeing EJ get on the case and hopefully iron out some of these wrinkles.

Yeh, we all love Don's work, no matter what he does, it just wasn't the right book for that style. G1 has an etched-into-stone fan base, and it's as comfortable as stones get.
