Ooooh, I can't wait. This looks rad! Damn 4 day weekend and public holidays are gonna make my subscription late!

Same story for those of us in the UK. What's worse is that the price of stamps goes up again tomorrow - damn! Anyway it's a good issue and always lovely to see one or more of the 'Special Teams' in action (little 80s reference there). My only gripe is that much more could and should be packed into those pages. There's an average four to five panels per page at the moment, but if there were seven or eight it'd be a much meaty read. I'd welcome that because at the moment I'm left wanting more.

Thanks Steve, got this today. Couldn't agree more, the story is picking up but the pacing is off. Whereas with LSOTW I feel each issue stands on it's own, the ongoing feels like the pacing won't work until it's released in book format.
As a separate question, back in the *ations story arc combiner technology had only been tested by the scientific genius (and lunatic) Jhiaxus with Monstructor. Now we are to believe that a two bit conman like Swindle can create a gestalt with limited resources, in less than a day and without the Autobots around noticing? And seemingly a better job without the madness of the combined mind of Monstructor. Hmmmm. Doesn't really follow IMHO.

I would be interested to know as well. Magnus actually mentions that Swindle has stolen the combiner tech, so why wait so long to grab him? Like the homage to the movie on Magnus's plate "Stack 84". Also, is it me or does the font in this issue seems large? The text seemed quite big in each speech bubble

Can't help but feel a little disappointed with this issue and im not quite sure why that is yet?! I think you guys have a point on the pacing of this issue, maybe thats it!? I've been really enjoying this story build but i think last issues digression in 'spotlight thundercracker' has took some of the heat and momentum out of it somehow. Also i think im still annoyed at seeing Bumbleebee as a movie-verse camaro!!!!! I had been trying to get used to the 'new art style direction' and i have to say i do think (barring all the horror faces) that some of the characters look cool, but with this additional 'new change' i find myself dis-liking it more and more! With each new issue this series feels more and more like a movie-verse tribute than ever. Also i dont know yet if im convinced over Prime's speech, i was really hoping he add a 'real' plan up his sleeve. What i really did enjoy though is seeing Menasor making a debut (now he does look cool!) and it was great to see some 'classic' Swindle moments as he reveals his true character. Now he is a character that i feel has been handled well! Im not too worried over him making Menasor, after all although he is a two-bit swindler, he is also extremely well versed in just about any illegal weaponary or tech (since its passed through his hands often enough lol) and as a member of the combaticons is well trained in putting such knowledge to use. But why he's waited till now to use it or sell who knows. I also thoroughly enjoyed everything about Magus this issue. Its great to see him getting an attitude when he doen't get the respect he feels he deserves from the position he holds. Its also been great to see the contest of who's authority has the most power, and which demands the greatest respect, The Tyrest Accord or Autobot Commander. Yeah i do think the text seems larger and i'd also like to see the content filled out a bit more.
