So... Swindle is is trying to build a soapbox for HotRod, but why? for no good or selfless reason, we can safely assume. Magnus is being stubborn-tough-cop. Expected. The start and conclusion of this issue read like a Thundercracker spotlight. more of a spotlight than some of the earlier 'revelations' stories anyway. although it was cool to see what had happened to Thundercracker since AHM, I didn't think there was much room for the main plot continuity in between the Thundercracker heavy pages; and the 'things fall apart' story will conclude in 2 more chapters! other than that little whine, I did actually enjoy this issue a lot still can't enjoy this series as much as i would like to because of the art but i'm starting to say to myself "oh Well, deal with it". I wish i could get the Wildman covers though, I keep getting mailed 'A' covers! anyway, what do you think?...

I quite liked it, was somewhat philosophical but I think it added depth to Thundercracker. Most of the time the Decepticons are shown to be quite 2 dimensional, it was good to see something adding depth to one of them.

Agreed. It reminded me a bit of that Marvel comic where Shockwave studies humanity via TV and concludes it is weak and ripe for conquest. Thundercracker by contrast seems to develop great admiration for mankind and I'm interested to see where this journey leads him. I can't see too many ways back into the Decepticon fold for him now, not unless he's prepared to keep his true thoughts quiet and follow orders.
Swindle is making Hot Rod look like a prized idiot, especially now he's parading himself as a Prime. Pride before a fall and all that and I'm expecting this alliance to blow up in Hot Rod's face before long.

Yeah it will definately be interesting to see where they take it. I think potentially it could become a really good story.

I think the biggest problem with the ongoing, horrible bloody artwork aside, is that it simply can't compete with Last Stand Of The Wreckers on any level. However I do think, again artwork aside, that it is an improvement on AHM.

Agreed! This Ongoing is way better than AHM. In fact im really enjoying this story arch! Its great to see Thundercracker's character sketched out and his doubts about the Decepticon's ways explored. Im very intrigued to see what will become of him now and how he'll put his own thoughts and feelings into action. Swindle is turning out to be a legendary character and im lovin the way his personality is shining through hes really provin to live up to his name lol im already convinced he could just about get away with anything and yet still palm it off as nothing lol. BTW what was all that about in the Decepti-comments page about documentaries?
