Only thing wrong with this issue was that they didn't do a profile at the back of the book like they did in the first one, I was hoping for an Overlord or Ironfist profile.
Just been on Nick Roche's blog, and reading between the lines it looks like he's hoping to write a sequel to LSOTW. Bring it on!

That would be good, I met Nick Roche at Auto Assembly, he came across as a nice guy who really seemed to have passion for the material.

Loving this series, I particularly like the references to the original Wreckers from Marvel days with Xaaron and Operation Volcano!

Great, great read overall. What is everyone´s opinion on Overlord in the series? He does come across as very "wrong" to me in a way.

I think he's a cool villain if a bit unconventional. Rather than seeking power and leadership he just seems to unleash mayhem and revel in it... and why not?! I have a feeling there may be more to what he's up to on Garrus 9 though and maybe his true intentions have yet to come out. What do you mean by "wrong" rb?

I like him as a bad guy, he reminds me of the joker in The Dark Knight, and that quote from Alfred that some men dont want money and power, they just want to see the world burn. Exellent Grade A Loony.
Most other big Con's have some kind of logic or dodgy evil morals in a way, good to see someone who has gone completely off the deep end.
I do agree with you though Steve, as mental as he seems to be there's gonna be something bigger going on, he's up to something.

I'm loving the Overlord character. As one that as never been defined anywhere before outside of the Japanese cartoon series I think it's great to see a new type of character, it would have been easy to make him another Megatron/Scorponok type leader or a complete loon like UK Marvels Galvatron, but as Omegastoopreme says he's like a joker equivalent, mad but a sadistic intelligent mad! Mind you with the title "Ambassador Of Destruction" it was always going to be interesting to see what they did with him.

I will also add that im totally loving this series!
And what im loving most apart from a fantastic story well told and a brilliant choice of cast is the superb attention given to character and continuity!
Im really enjoying how each character isnt based on any pre-existing or established personality from any other incarnations but is being drawn a-fresh based entirely on the toys and/or their tech spec's/bio's. Kick-Off being a prime example. Which really brings home just how terrifying Overlord really is since Snare's tech boasts he never gets frightened, and yet here he is getting scared wit-less! Its an excellent way to build the tension and you can practically feel the anticipation of the autobots mission growing through the issue! And i loved the way the Bots react at hearing of Overlord's involvement. The same as the Cons in #1 lol Superb!
Nice to see Nick and James paying attention to continuity too, tying in the story with the Ongoing and Magnus minus Verity and his return to the situation on Earth.
Lovin Pyro trying hard not to be a Prime wannabe copying his motto; Guzzle's ridiculously enormous tank gun; The strained relationship between Impactor and Springer; Kup's scary war-mongering... And just about everything else in this awesome issue!
