Cool, loving all the Action Masters, G2 guys, Triggerbots and Japanese figures. They've called G2 Ironhide Ironfist instead to differentiate him.
Artwork looks great too. People who have "ongoings" face stye have nothing to complain at here.

"They've called G2 Ironhide Ironfist instead to differentiate him." That's actually Ironfist a Gen 1.5/Gen 2 "Lightformer", details here: tfwiki.net/wiki/IronfistAgreed though, this looks like it's going to be a kick ass story, I'm really looking forward to it. And the artwork is a pleasure to behold :-)

Just been reading the IDW forums and I've never seen such a positive reaction to a TF comic, looks like this could be the best TF story ever! Can't wait till Monday when mine arrives in the post!!!!!

And the artwork is a pleasure to behold :-) To be honest til I read the other post I only knew it as G2 Ironhide and had to do some diging to find out about the names. I believe the figure was used for BOTH Ironhide AND Ironfist. It was first released at the end of G1 with the Turbomasters, as ironfist, then re-released in G2 as Ironhide. I know as I had one, and sold it on ebay last year with the rest of my g2 stuff. It clearly had IRONHIDE tampographed on the shell like most G2 figures did. There were loads of G1.5 figures like this, you can tell the version by what type of faction symbol they have, also Ironfist didnt have his name stamped on him. The figures were exactly the same otherwise.

Superb read, loving Rotorstorm's sarcastic quips and I quite fancy Verity now in her hot pants and crop top. Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it yet, but it's good to see the return (from the dead) of a certain G1 Autobot!
Shaping up to be classic story.
Does anybody else think Grimlock may still be locked up on Ultra Magnus's ship, could be a useful ally for the Wreckers later in the story.

I would like Verity's appearance explained. Last we saw, she had died after going through an orbital bounce with Ratchet, or have I missed something that was explained in TF:Continuum?

You saw verity (VERY) briefly when Hunter got rescued (Max Dinobots I think) but nothing else since. Good to see her back as AHM just ditched her big time. The arm pieces are VERY G1 S4 Headmaster gear Its just like the stuff the guys wore when in the big bots heads.

Quick question, Steve - the ordering page states "awaiting 2nd printing". Did you receive the first shipment?

Yes the first shipment came and even though I ordered 30 extra copies I still sold out, so anyone still waiting will receive a 2nd print in the next week. Email me offline and I'll tell you what I can do in the meantime.

WOW!!!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!
What an opening salvo! I totally loved it! Really enjoyed the whole issue!
The story, script and dialogue were all superb and beautifully tied in with the artwork, which in itself was also a joy to behold!!
Great choice of wrecker recruits and their characters were expertly captured. There's so much in this single issue, packed full of awesome action, intro's to new characters, a new story set-up as well as bringing us up to speed on some of the 'off earth' events, loads of sub-plot and a great cliffhanger! AND all done seemlessly in a single issue! Now thats the mark of accomplished writing!
Loved the comaradery of the bots and the great humour between them which stood out so much more because of the contrast with the hell-hole that has become Garrus-9!! Overlord is a complete monster, one sadistic sick puppy, and he's lovin it! Mwhahahaha!!!
Really great to see verity back! I personally loved simon's trio of humans from the -ation run, verity probably being my favorite, so good to see her still kicking and sassy as ever. Seems she stowed away after max dino's and has become Magnus's sidekick. Cool!!! Also Verity's death-ray tatoo was a great tribute to Hunter.
Loving Kick-Off! "Alt modes are for wimps" was genius especially coming from an action master lol!
Awesome to see Predators so much and cant wait to see more of Impactor and find out about his past exploits, got a feelin he's gonna be one mean bot!
Loving the fact that Ironfist is a wrecker fanboy, nice touch, but does anyone else think his blackout was something more than just getting overcome from meeting his hero's? In all the art he's shown with a nasty crack to the head...........
And i really loved the Rotastorm profile at the end of the book, really took me right back to the Marvel UK days. Would really love to get one of these each issue!
Cant wait for issue 2, i genuinely can say i havent had so much fun readig a TF comic in a long time...
WRECK 'N' RULE!!!!!!!!
