I thought Kup was a goner after what happened in Spotlight.

I suppose if the Autobots can restore Sunstreaker to his pre-Headmaster self then it's also possible to repair Kup's damaged brain. His bout of insanity was caused by the crystal energy source on that planet so it probably helped a lot once he was taken away from the planet.
Loved the opening scene with Sunstreaker - I wonder what's going through his head and why he can't face Hunter? It's also nice that Kup referred to his spotlight because at last we're getting cross references to previous continuity, I don't know why it couldn't be sooner.
Wonder who the traitor is?

My theory is that the Autobots only think there's a traitor. My guess is that after Sunstreaker and Hunter where dis-assembled the Decepticons capture Hunter, knowing that in his mind he'll hold elements of Sunstreaker's memory. One such memory being the Autobot security codes which Soundwave could easily read from his mind.

I'm thinking it could have something to do with Hunstreaker too. Maybe Sunstreaker doesn't like the fact that he had to share his ego with a human. He never seemed to like Jimmy, verity and co. in the past. He could also be guilty if something has happened to Hunter, maybe thinking that he should not have split from him, or turned his back on him, as we are led to believe

There is something not right with Sunstreaker, he is the leak and should be forceably disassembled course it could have been Drift, now they are not gonna make a toy of him and the fans have moaned about him a lot then he could be the traitor to bring the fans back in line, simple to change the script and bump him off ;D All pure speculation at this point though

What's that you say? The Drift toy has been cancelled? I didn't know that, and it would be a shame if its due to sniping on the message boards. No, I don't think it will be Drift because its way to obvious to blame it on the new guy, plus it loses a lot of impact because we know next to nothing about Drift and it wouldn't have as much shock value as if it were someone like Prowl or Kup. I think this big reveal is going to remain a mystery until the comic comes out - as I can't imagine anyone successfully guessing it in advance.

i think the idea of post headmaster hunter is good. Remeber someone said that the traitor willingly worked with starscream. Maybe hunter would do it becos streaker abandoned him. Uno he wants revenge/ he feels betrayed becos after evrything he went through/did he was cast out, + it meens one of the bots didnt directly do it, i meen i find it hard imagining one of these age old characters being changed, but tbh i reckon i wud prefer it if it one of the bots is a straight up traitor=a massive and way more original plot twist.

I know he's considered a rogue by the decepticons, but what if Scorponok gave Megs secrets from Sunstreakers' mind? I don't think Hunter would be that cruel, especially after being in the thick of the action in more ways than one.

I was kinda on the right track . I didn't expect to see Hunter quite like that. Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but Sunstreaker can't cut a break in any universe!

I think Ironhide's comment "Well, you're the expert right?" to Drift after he said that the war is changing people makes me think that Drift was either a Decepticon who changed sides, or he's a double agent. His spotlight cover showing the two insignias leads towards this as well. Any one know anything about his story? Loving Perceptor's new sniper role.

Loving Perceptor's new sniper role. If Perceptor now fights, I would not be surprise they will have beachcomber to enjoy going into battle.

Good theories about Drift. Shane hinted at him having a unique background, which is why he had to create a new character rather than use an existing one. Here's what he said in his recent interview with OSS:
"Q7) Much has been made of this new Autobot 'Drift' who we got to meet in AHM #6. What can you tell us about him? Why create a new character rather than say, adapt an existing Autobot?
He's a fun one is ol' Drift. Basically he's a bit of an outsider and keeps to himself to a certain degree (sometimes not by choice). He has a slightly different approach to the war to most of his fellow Autobots but all of that will be explained in his Spotlight as will the reason why I couldn't just adapt an existing Autobot.
His creation really was something that surprised us all though. He wasn't created to save the day or any such thing. I had a fun idea for a character that Hasbro took a liking too and were kind enough to let us go ahead with.
And it definitely wasn't a case of me wanting to put my own favorite guy in there above all else. My three favorites are already in AHM and, sadly, Drift isn't one of them."
