Well now that was a good issue. Though it's still suffering a bit with too many plot threads running at once. The Autobots vs Sixshot battle was excelently done I think, plus Sixshots dialogue finally explained why he's as tough as he is (makes you wonder why he's never taken over, unless loyalty to Meg's is hardwired). All I can say for Bumblebee, Jazz and Prowl is ouch, but I expect some time in CR will see them up and running sometime soon.
Nice to see Soundwave back in the picture, albeit in a limited fashion, along with Ravage and Laserbeak.
I can definately say I didn't see the twist in the Verity/Jimmy storyline coming (no I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it yet).
Also leaves me wondering what SS has up his sleeve to beat Sixshot??

Hopefully people have had time to read the comic by now. I have to say I hope the situation with Jimmy and Verity is not permanent. If it is it's a waste, is all I can say.
Echo the sentiments about the Sixshot battle although I think his nature/programming is devoid of personal ambition so he's probably content taking Megs orders. As an out and out soldier unleashing destruction is what he does and a command role probably wouldn't interest him.
I'd still back Prime over Sixshot in a fight. Optimus could pull something out of the bag, just like he did against the Ore 13 fueled Megatron.
Issue 5 should be interesting with the Reapers now turning up. I just hope the Sunstreaker/Hunter plot moves on - it's been at a crawling pace for quite a while now.

Read it! Yup it was definately a suprise what happened to Jim and Verity (the squishies). I just had a thought though. We see the autobots retreat to their spaceship amongst them Hardhead and Nightbeat. Perhaps Ratchet will try and bring the humans back somehow. The only way to do so is to headmaster them with the two autobots I just mentioned. Whaddaya reckon? I think that may be a possibility. I liked the battle but thought Sixshot would have pounded the autobots into tiny pieces I think they got off very lightly. I can't wait for issue 5. really cool chapter of devastation

My money's on them going to the dead universe as I believe that's a big deal in the next story arc (TF Revelation). Gut feeling says they are not dead. It all happened a bit abrupt and without serving a purpose.

I think that is a bit better idea than mine. I was wondering when will we see Scorponok. He is clearly the headmastering villain. I love the way it is all unfolding, though the headmaster plot seems a bit slow at the moment. I really want to see what happens with Shockwave. I like the way that the decepticons seem to be amassing forces on earth. Cue soundwave plus cassettes.

After reading #4, I think Prime will take the drastic view of pulling out of Earth for now. I think the 'bots would be commiting suicide to try and get in the way of the decepticons and the reapers. I think thats the shock decision Prime's gonna make. I agree I don't think Jim and Verity are dead. I think it would be a waste, as they have built these human characters up right from the start, that they can end like that.

I think Scorponok turns up in #6. Like Steve I'm hoping Verity & Jimmy go to the Dead Universe, as it would be so much more interesting if the Dead Universe is explored, and not just used as a "bad guy" base. Looking forward to #5, hopefully we'll see whether Ironhide's alive as well.

I'm with Sandhog, why else would we have Headmasters on site and someone else getting binary bonded? Another reason that I think this is that Ratchet is gonna be feel really guilty as he overlooked the effects the jump would have on them so he is gonna look for a way to fix them (he is a fixer ) If we look at the autobots who are there on the ship the others are all casualties following the rumble with Sixshot: Prowl got bashed Bumblebee got blasted and Jazz got dismembered, so none of these can undergo the bonding process. Prime isn't going to do it because he is the boss... This only leaves Hardhead and Nightbeat ;D so we shall see

Well maybe. But Hardhead is supposed to be bonded to Duros and likewise, Nightbeat is paired with the detective Muzzle. If they were to become headmasters in this continuity I'd prefer to see them bonded to the right people. Perhaps in IDW universe Duros and Muzzle could be humans. I'm just not that thrilled about Verity and Jimmy becoming bonded to Autobots.
