Well during some prototyping for a new project I got in mind I ended up reading back through the IDW Transformers comics: Infiltration, Stormbringer, Escalation and the Spotlights.
I noticed that in Stormbringer the inhabitants of Nebulos are green yet in Spotlight: Ultra Magnus they appear a dull pasty beige colour.
Also we are all pretty sure that its Scorponok that is the head in the Machination which is supported more by the Ultra Magnus issue but looking at where the Ultra Magnus issue fits in in time can does Scorponok lose his head as appears we would have had to go to Earth almost immediately after leaving Nebulos.
Did anyone notice the Battlecruiser in Stormbringer as well, it looks similar to Fortress Maximus, possibily its a transformer.

I mentioned this a while back, Speaking of Stormbringer #2, anyone else think that the space ship the wreckers were in looked the off shoot of a bizarre mating of powermaster primes trailer and fort max? those engines sticking out the sides had a very retracted hand look to me. From Josh Burcham who did the colours on the issue:

Nah, the events of Ultra Magnus are spread over a longish period of time. We know that the scene at the end, where Magnus brings in Swindle again, happens roughly at the same time as Escalation #1 (the dialogue synchs with Prime's viewscreens... I think it's #1), but the events of the issue before that can happen at... well... pretty much any time prior to Stormbringer. Likely several years ago.
