Yeah, that most recent one with the Rodimus look, is probably Sentinel Prime. I think he is the imediate predecessor to Optimus and we'll probably find out for sure in the last issue of Megatron Origin.
The bot before him looks like he's got angel wings. I wonder who he is. In Marvel there were Sentinel Prime, Prime Nova, Primon and possibly even Prima, although it sounds too much like paint. I'm interested to see if IDW has invented a few more Primes.
Did anyone else think the being Optimus 'encounters' while in limbo between life and death in Esc #6 was a Prime? Maybe one that was corrupted as I got the impression he was a threat.

I've been edging towards the mystery head in limbo (not the decapitated Machination head) is probably a Prime. While the head calling out PRIME threw me off a bit, having a look at the line up of previous Primes (too many Primes in this paragraph) the head does bare a striking resemblance to the Prime before Sentinal (or Angelwing Prime ). I'm beginning to wonder if Angelwing left behind the matrix and went off on the Ark-1 and he's become this malavolent (sp?) being in the undeadiverse?? Now if that's the case then Angelwing could be Nemesis Prime?! or maybe I've gone way off on a tangent here

I think you're right, the horns you can see on Angelwing Prime do seem to be the same as the Nemesis Prime that Optimus saw. However, in the Galvatron Spotlight I got the impression the Prime that Galvatron was talking about wasn't on the Ark-1, but it wasn't completely clear......
On another note does anyone else think that Omega Supreme's asteroid looks a bit like Starscream's from the TV series?

How many Arks are there? So now they have space ships entering and exiting the solar system and Earth people are unable to detect all these "UFOs"?

Firstly the way i read it there are many arks, what i gather is that in itself an ark is a large ship wich can act as both an exploratory vessel and a base of operations. hence the status of the ark-1 in the Galvatron spotlight and ark-19 in infiltration, escalation and so on.
Plus at least some of the humans have noticed them hence Sunstreaker being kidnapped and the machination and all.

How many Arks are there? So now they have space ships entering and exiting the solar system and Earth people are unable to detect all these "UFOs"? Unless they came into Earth/near-Earth orbit or happened to cross a field of view of an observatory, the chances that they would be seen are quite slim. Even in the case of an observatory all they may see is a bright blob, which could be mistaken for an asteroid. I mean we don't know if any space going traffic has actually passed through our solar system and passed us by. To any spacefaring race we probably only be visited for 3 reasons: 1- research into a 'backwards' race 2- slave labour, but even then we're not really all that hardy a species 3- the planets resources, but even in this case I expect we'd be down on the list due to easier to exploit places

And that's assuming an alien space faring race would even be motivated by the same things as humans.
By the way, Don's drawing of Prime embedded in the snow looks friggin' awesome.

IDW's latest shipping list has Spotlight Prime on it; which means it should be in stock on Friday (one day late due to bank holiday). Update: I stopped by IDW's site and they've unveiled a new scanned page from Spotlight Prime. He'll be fighting Monstructor!!
