Hey everyone,
If you are a returning visitor you'll probably have noticed that the board is looking a bit different. It has been black and orange for many years and as attached as I was to the colour scheme, I've decided it's better to integrate it with the rest of the website. So from today its blue and white. I hope you like it - and if not I hope it will grow on you.
Another new change is that regular OneShallStand.com pages (non forum pages) now have a comments facility. This means visitors can add their thoughts to reviews or order pages in the store and I hope it will add another dimension of interaction and enjoyment.
If you have any comments on the site or suggestions to improve it please feel free to post them here.

You mean the blue? I could make this paler or white but then it wouldn't be the same as the main site. Give it a couple of days and see if you still feel the same.

I think the idea of keeping the colour scheme in line with the rest of the site is a good idea, but I think there is too much white, which is making it bright. Is there any way of reducing in width the size of the forum section that is in white? Maybe populate the edge with some pics of tf's?

Another thought; what about changing the area where the avatar / authors are to the purple like the main home page area, where Blaster and the links are? Then keep the comments area white, that way it would match the look of the home page, which then may take the focus off the brighter look

Guys I've had another play but I'm not able to change the colour of the avatar column without it affecting the comments part. If I set two colours it makes the first comment colour 1 and the reply colour 2 etc. Pretty annoying.

What about the widths of the author and comments columns? If these were slightly smaller, it might help. Must admit, the colours are starting to grow on me now the more I'm on the forums lol!
